September felt like the right time to bring our Novus Meetups series back, and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to start. Last Friday, with the support of QNBEYOND, we hosted “Novus Meetups: Product & Design Talks.” It was an afternoon filled with insights, conversations, and plenty of coffee.
Building an AI product is never just the job of one team. Product and design need to move in sync, shaping each other’s direction along the way. That’s exactly why our Sr. Product Manager, Hüseyin Umut Dokuzelma, and our Head of Design, Ece Demircioğlu, joined us to share their experiences. They walked us through how ideas evolve into real products, the role design plays in steering roadmaps, the challenges they’ve faced, and why clear communication between teams makes everything possible.
The energy they brought to the stage — combined with the thoughtful visual design of their presentation — made the session not just informative but also engaging. And once the Q&A began, it turned into an open exchange, where participants asked real questions and received candid, experience-driven answers.
We wrapped up with networking over coffee, where product managers, designers, and industry professionals came together to continue the conversations and connect more personally. These moments reminded us why we started Novus Meetups in the first place: to create spaces where knowledge is shared openly and connections are built naturally.
